Reliable transportation is vital to any rescue operation—and right now, it’s one of our biggest challenges. Coral Acres currently relies on borrowed trailers to move horses between foster homes, veterinary appointments, and emergency rescue situations. This limits our ability to act quickly and safely when it matters most.
Horse Trailer Purchase
With your support, CAWS hopes to purchase a gently used 3- or 4-horse trailer, along with covering the cost of registration and insurance. This trailer will allow us to respond to emergencies, coordinate medical care, and place horses into foster homes with speed, safety, and confidence.
Bonus Impact – Wildfire Support
Owning a trailer will also empower CAWS to serve as a community resource during Colorado’s wildfire season. Every year, horses and livestock are left behind due to a shortage of evacuation options. With our own trailer, we’ll be able to step in and assist local horse owners and nearby rescues—helping protect lives in times of crisis.
